SG View Dish
Dish for microscope observation in polarised light. The working bottom area is a precise borosilicate glass with a diameter 30 mm and thickness 0,17 ± 0,005 mm.
The whole dish has a diamater of 60 mm. Outer parts have a plastic bottom in the same focal plane as the glass bottom.
Could be used for observation of the Oocyte maturity. The dish is however big enough to enable micromanipulation with microcapillaries with 25, 30 or 35 degrees angle.
Polarized-Light Microscopy Dish
Glass-bottom dish optimized for non-invasive live-cell imaging in polarized light (e.g. Polscope/Oosight systems). The central optical window is precision borosilicate glass, 30 mm diameter, 0.17 ± 0.005 mm thickness (No. 1.5H coverslip equivalent) with low intrinsic birefringence for high-contrast spindle imaging.
- Overall dish diameter: 60 mm
- Outer support ring with co-planar plastic bottom: maintains the same focal plane as the glass for stable micromanipulation
- Application: assessment of oocyte maturity, meiotic spindle visualization, and zona pellucida birefringence
- Working volume accommodates microcapillaries at 25°, 30° and 35° injection angles for ICSI and related procedures
- Compatible with inverted microscopes, heated stages and IVF workstations
PolarScope
PolarScope is a device for monitoring oocyte maturation inside the CO2 incubator.
It enables continuous, remote visualisation (time-lapse) of the spindle in the oocyte during maturation in the CO2 incubator, without the need to move the dish outside the incubator.
Synga PolarScope and Olympus Evident comparison of observation of mice oocytes MII stage shows the good visibility of the spindle and proves the PolarScope functionality.
